Late May we headed over to Wisconsin for some campin' and some bikin' with Ryan's parents. We stayed at the Tunnel Trail campground. This was the first time we used our huge screened in tent thing. It was super nice and kept the one million kids out! photo credit - Ryan's Mom

The Elroy Sparta trail ran right next to the campground. We set out mid-morning on our all day biking adventure. The Elroy Sparta is a rails to trails project, complete with railroad tunnels. It was pretty chilly out so the cold water gushing out of the celing of the tunnel wasn't exactly as refreshing as it could have been. Because the tunnels are pitch black they make you walk your bikes. What's up with that? :)

So we continued to bike for hours and hours and hours. The miles ticked away. Soon we only had three miles left. Well I pretty much hit the wall and the only thing that kept me going was thinking about those summer shandys in the cooler! It was a great adventure and tons of fun!
