Sorta Carnival 2007

Our first stop in Houghton was the geology museum. Well ok it wasn't our first stop but I don't have any pictures of the statues so for the sake of argument we went to look at rocks first thing upon arrival in Houghton. This one glows under blacklight. Oohhh ahhhh.
This is a gigantic hunk of copper. You can touch it if you want.
A painting of my hero Douglas Houghton. We salute you Douglas Houghton and your excellent eggs.
So after all the exciting rocks and paintings we headed back to Joe's house to enjoy some of Jacob's finest.
The boys played some foooos.
Action shot!
Adriane playing some music that has nothing to do with wearing purple or even starting to wear purple.
After a few hours at Joe's house we headed to the DT. Ah it was like coming home. Adriane pushing Joe around a bit. I think he liked it.
Then the boys got very serious about their golf/dart game.
Which left more cocktails for the girls.
Action shot!
Mark two fisting, beer and coffee. Uppers and downers man, uppers and downers.
What's for breakfast? MEAT!
Ok pancakes too. Mark and Kelly were the chefs.
More MEAT!
After a hearty breakfast it was time to suit up for the outside.
Hey I'm on one side of the bridge and you're on the other!
Down low, ah too slow.
Then it started to snow some more. It was really pretty.
Joe and Adriane enjoying the big flakes.
Ryan all sweaty.
After wandering through the woods we found a lake. It wasn't the lake we expected but it was pretty cool. We could see the snow forming out on the big lake. Neato.
They don't look it, but these people are freezing. Imagine a wind swept cliff being cold.
He he says Chuck.
Running up a big hill.
Sliding down a big hill.
So we planned on a bunch of snacks to have upon returning from the bar. Nachos with cheetos fantastic! And yes we did go through an entire jar of salsa.
But if you drink water it's all ok. Drink up honey.
Adriane thought that cheetos belonged in the bag. Ah crazy Adriane.
Chuck and Ryan, aww sweet sweet lovin'.
Chuck on the couch that's great! Ha ha ha.
